The project involved site engineering and construction management for a bank foreclosure property. The site is a high end gated community within the city limits of Asheville. The bank is finishing out the development and taking the property to market. Phase I construction did not meet City standards and had to be re-engineered and reconstructed. Phase II was revised with the help of Land Planning Collaborative to improve the aesthetic and save on construction costs. BEA has worked closely with City inspectors to resolve non-compliant construction issues and City Planning staff to resolve complex issues arising from the Conditional Use permit in the last gated community permitted in Asheville.
