Engineering For New Pond Construction and Dam Repairs
Professional-Civil-Engineers-AshevilleWith the special attention to historical landscape features and historic monuments, and with regard for the hallowed grounds masterminded by William Law Olmstead, BEA was tasked with providing road widening and rehabilitation plans for eight miles of road on the Biltmore Estate grounds.
Repairs included drainage system rehabilitation utilizing important aspects of the 100+ year old system. BEA worked closely with the Estate master Landscape Architect and carefully selected contractors to insure “the experience of the drive through the grounds” was enhanced.
BEA has also consulted on new pond construction and existing dam repairs on the Estate grounds. Design and construction demanded the same scrutiny as the road repairs.
