The project involved an innovative on-site wastewater system for a Wine bar and restaurant relocating to a restored historical building in Valle Crucis, NC. The 1.5 acre site could not accommodate a conventional septic system. BEA’s soil scientist worked diligently to find a small pocket of ground suitable for a drip dispersal drainfield. BEA engineered the system with a recirculating fixed-media pretreatment system (EZ-Treat). BEA provided the soil science assessment, survey, engineering and permitting services all in-house for seamless project management.
